Second Call Defense

Concealed carry requires a lot of work on your part, and once you’re granted the right to conceal carry, you have to worry about something else: defending yourself. People are suing like crazy, and even if they’re 100% in-the-wrong, it doesn’t matter – they’ll try suing.

This can leave you with staggering legal bills.

You could lose everything. Second Call Defense is here to help but is it the right option for you?

Second Call Defense vs USCCA Insurance

When you compare Second Call Defense to USCCA, you’re comparing a Ford Focus to a Ferrari. You’ll pay slightly more for USCAA, but the civil suit insurance is phenomenal at $250,000 coverage – $2 million coverage at the highest plan.

This is serious coverage, and it starts for USCCA where Second Call maxes out.

It’s a no brainer – plus you’ll pay less at $30 a month with USCCA’s second tier and still have better overall benefits. Your spouse and anyone in your home that meets a certain age requirement is covered under your plan.

This is why I recommend USCCA for 90% of gun owners.

At first sight, you might think that their plan is more expensive, but when you start looking at the higher coverage and not having to pay for your spouse, you’ll see that you’re saving money with superior coverage.

It’s really a no-brainer when trying to pick between the two services.  With that said, you may be looking at from a different point of view and need less coverage.  In that case, any coverage is better than none.

Second Call Defense vs NRA Carry Guard

NRA Carry Guard is another decent option, and this option also starts where Second Call leaves off: at $250,000 in coverage. You’ll be able to go up to $1 million in coverage. The top tier is lower-priced than USCCA’s top-tier, but it’s also $1 million less in coverage.

With that said, Second Call Defenses’ top tier is higher in price than NRA Carry Guard, so if you had to pick among just these two, NRA would win.

Pitting NRA against USCCA, you’ll find that USCCA offers higher limits on almost everything. It makes sense if you’re a gun owner that is serious about protection to go with the highest limits possible.

Defending your family should not lead to bankruptcy, but for many people, it does.

All three of these options offer protection, but it’s a matter of how much you’re willing to risk by choosing Second Call Defense, which has a significantly lower limit on almost all of their coverage.

Second Call Defense reviews are mostly positive and at a certain price point the value is good.

It’s really up to you to choose, but since the prices are similar or lower for better coverage in many cases, you may as well rest easy at night knowing that if you have to shoot, you have more than enough coverage for legal defense.
