IDENTILOCK is different than the traditional gun locks that people purchase for their homes. If you have one gun and want to keep it by your bedside at night without fear that a child or someone will grab it or accidentally pull the trigger, IDENTILOCK is the right choice for you.
Offering a biometric trigger lock, IDENTILOCK covers your gun’s trigger so that the gun cannot be fired until the lock has been removed.
IDENTILOCK features state-of-the-art features to ensure that your pistol lock doesn’t stop you from protecting yourself or your family.
IDENTILOCK Features
- 3-second release
- Fingerprint scanning technology
- Three user profiles
- NASA-designed metal alloy actuation
- Built-in override system
- 3-ounce weight
If the fingerprint system goes haywire or the battery is depleted, there is a key lock system that can be used to release the lock. The secondary backup system is key in situations where you need emergency protection.
Designed Specifically for Your Handgun
IDENTILOCK comes in four mains styles to ensure that the lock fits your handgun perfectly.
You’ll find that the four styles are:
- 1911-A1
- GLK-A1

It’s important to choose the right model for your handgun.
GLK-A1
The GLK-A1 Glock smart slide is designed for the following model numbers:
- G17
- G19 – G23
- G26 – G27
- G29
- G34
- G37 – G40
Note: G30, G42 and G43 are all unsupported at this time.

The S&W-A1 is designed primarily for Smith & Wesson, and the models that are able to work with these biometric locks are:
- Smith & Wesson SD9

If you don’t see your gun’s model and type listed above, the IDENTILOCK will not work for you.
Construction You Can Rely on
Designed from the ground up to be the most reliable lock on the market, IDENTILOCK has made each trigger lock with metal replacing polymer. The company also uses NASA technology in the design of the trigger lock with the company’s metal alloy actuation.
What does this mean?
Your lock will be able to withstand extreme weather conditions, including extreme cold, and hold temperatures without malfunction.
And if the fingerprint system’s battery is depleted, you can also use the secondary backup system, which is a standard key, that will be able to open up your handgun for use. It’s truly an evolution in smart guns, and it allows you to stay safe, but also respond when an emergency occurs.
A dimple-key is used for the override system for additional safety.
The unit does feature a lithium-ion battery with a six-month standby battery life. When it comes time to charge the battery, all you need to do is connect a Type-C USB cable to the unit and charge it.
LED indicators are on the lock to tell you when the battery is near depleted.
But that’s not all. IDENTILOCK is 100% committed to your safety, so the company has also incorporated email recharge reminders for free. You’ll receive an email every six months or so when it’s time to recharge your unit. If you forget to recharge it on your own, the company reminds you so that your battery is never depleted.
The key lock also has a cover.
Multiple Profile System
You may need to use the gun, but what happens when you’re not home and the gun is locked? When this happens, you’re leaving your family in danger. The trigger is fully locked, so no one can have access to the gun.
And this is a problem that IDENTILOCK solves by allowing each lock to have three fingerprint profiles.
Three people can use their fingerprint to be able to unlock the trigger, so you can be sure that your family remains safe even if you’re not present to unlock the gun trigger lock.
With 360-degree fingerprint recognition, this is one of the safest smart locks on the market while also producing fewer errors in fingerprint detection.
Cleaning Made Easy
You will want to check on your lock every six months to ensure that the unit is properly charged for fingerprint scanning. When it comes time to clean your unit, you’ll want to use a microfiber cloth to gently wipe down the lock.
Fingerprint sensors should be wiped down gently to allow for a fast, 0.3-second scan and open of the trigger.
If you’re worried about operating the IDENTILOCK at night, the company has already worked on ensuring that the lock is able to be operated in low-light conditions. The lock has an ergonomic design to allow for quick and easy night operation.
IDENTILOCK uses a natural “grab” for fingerprint detection, so you’re not wasting precious time fiddling with the scanner while someone is rummaging through your home. Once your fingerprint is accurately detected, the unit falls off of the trigger and you’re ready to fire your firearm.
If you’re used to using your fingerprint to get into your smartphone, you’ll be happy to know that IDENTILOCK’s fingerprint scanning technology is faster and more convenient than a smartphone fingerprint scanner.
Programming the unit can be tricky, so make sure that you read the instructions or follow videos online when programming your fingerprints into the unit.
Fast, effective and secure, you’ll be able to effectively lock your firearm’s trigger while being able to unlock the trigger in less than half a second. Homes with children or animals that may accidentally discharge a firearm are safer with IDENTILOCK.
